‘Doctor Who’ Nail Art

Its been less than a week since I started watching Doctor Who, and man! So I figured out a way to transfer my obsessive compulsiveness into a nail art with the TARDIS on my ring finger, along with the galaxy and space-like look on the remaining nails. Also, if you are not a fan of the show, you can simply avoid the TARDIS, and carry out the Galaxy nail art! Here is how:

For the TARDIS, I tried doing the whole of it, but failed miserably, so then I resorted to displaying the glass panes and the light on the top.

• First of all, I applied a platinum silver colour nail paint and let it dry. Then I cut out tiny squares of tape and stuck them in the required sequence
• Next I painted the TARDIS blue colour onto the nail, and let it dry completely
• Finally, I pulled off the tape with the help of a toothpick, and finished off with a coat of transparent nail paint

 

For the Galaxy and Space look:

• First, I applied the same blue nail paint as that of the TARDIS, and then coated it with a light purple glittery nail paint

 

• After that, take a piece of sponge, dip its tip in a bit of white nail paint and dab it onto your nail, smudging it slightly to create an optic illusion-like effect

 

• Next, dab on some green and pink colour around the white colour to give it a colourful effect

 

• Finally, apply a coat of transparent glittery nail paint onto your nail to give it a starry effect

 

• And you are done!
