The Smokey Eyes are probably the most sought after eye make-up, and not for nothing. They go with any look, be it formal or party wear, just so long as you choose the right shades. Smokey eyes are usually done in shades of black and grey, however, I have experimented with shades of turquoise blue. Here is how you can accomplish the look with minimal pains, all by yourself!
- First, apply a nude shade of eye shadow, and if you don’t have one, then you can use your preferred shade of compact powder as well. After that take the lighter shade of the colour you have chosen for the Smokey Eye look and apply the lighter shade onto the inner side of your eyelid
- After that apply the darker shade and blend the two in the center of your eyelid to give out a shaded effect
- Dab on some nude glittery eye shadow underneath your eyebrow
- After that apply liquid eyeliner in any way you prefer. I have gone with the Arabian winged style
- Lastly, apply mascara and dab on some of the lighter shade of the eye shadow that you have used underneath the eye to give it the finishing touch, and you are done!
Tip: If you feel like the lighter side of the eye shadow is not too visible or has blended into the darker shade, then dab on some silver or white eye shadow onto it so that it becomes lighter and the shaded effect is maintained
